iXsystems has introduced "FreeNas Titan" a robust NAS appliance solution that will give flexible and on the fly storage expansion for multi-server systems. This storage appliance can serve data to many server or clients simultaneously. The Titan could also support CIFS, FTP, AFP, NFS, RSYNC, iSCSI protocols, SMART and local use authentication and alos has an attractive web management interface.
