Sixteen Hexadecimal Digits for a Colorful Illegal T-Shirt

By Wilbur Corncob at 05/12/07 20:57
[404 Check: was link to http:/ / freebsd. security -vulnerabilities. com/ 3816/ hd -dvd -key -numbers/ , anchor: TSHIRT: HD-DVD key numbers turned into colors on a T-shirt] is not quite about FreeBSD but is geeky and interesting.

A t-shirt with color bars that might send to you to jail or least get you a nasty letter from the MPAA if you wear it in public!

FreeBSD for Fully Functional Desktop

By Wilbur Corncob at 05/03/07 08:40
Opening the Unix Desktop to Web Developers. I just don't get it.

I've used FreeBSD/gnome for my desktop for a year and half. I only go to windows for a few windows only application that I need on a rare occasion.

This article says "After reading this article you'll see that beside Adobe Flash, you can have an affordable, secure and alternative system which can fullfill your needs". Well, I believe that not having Flash is a great benefit. Though I believe it is probably available on the unix/freebsd/linux environment as it is on my Nokia 770 which runs linux.
